Obituary of Roger L. Herzog

Port Allegany - Roger Lee Herzog, 51, of Port Allegany, went to be with the Lord on Thursday (June 9, 2011), after passing away at his home in Port Allegany, surrounded by his loving family. He was born Dec 13, 1959 in Port Allegany, a son of Minnie Fay Dunkle Herzog and John Ritchie of Port Allegany, and Gilbert Wayne Herzog of Betula. Mr. Herzog was a 1979 graduate of Seneca Highlands Intermediate Unit. He enjoyed drawing, going out to eat, and spending time with family and friends. In addition to his parents, he is survived by: One brother: Scott (Shelly Smithmeyer) Herzog of Port Allegany Two sisters: Donna (Jerry) Simons of Betula, PA and Paula (Mark Williams) Lannager of Shinglehouse, PA, several nieces, nephews, Aunts and Uncles. He was preceded in death by a brother, Ronald A. Herzog. There will be no visitation. Private services will be held with the family at the Faith Charity Church in Grimes District.
