My greatest memory with Sam is hard to pin point. I grew up with him and i would never wish to take that back Sam was one of my greatest friends and was a brother to me i loved him as family. Sam was an amazing friend to me. He always gave me a place to stay when I needed one. And whenever we went swimming, he would jump with me and help me back up to the top. Since I have a fear of jumping off things. I remember the one night I stayed at his house, he taught me about gibiths, and torrot cards. He also showed me all his books, then I turned around and saw his Taranchula, scared me half to death. He and Josh Szewczyk (my boyfriend) laughed. He was an amazing person. He one day heard me saying the my stomach hurt, so he made me this indian remedy medicine or something, and he told me to drink it. It smelt horrible, tasted even worse, but it did make me feel better. Also his mom, she is such a saint. She invited Josh and I to stay for lunch one time, ordered in pepporini pizza and sundays. They were delicious. I really am going to look back on all the times I have had at his house, and just around town with him. Sam I will never forget you. And I miss you like crazy. I can not believe at all ever, that this happened. But I know that you are looking down on us. I miss you Sam. I love you. And I also, I know it's a little late to be saying this, but I thank you for everything you have ever done to me. I love you and miss you dearly, and you will forever be in my heart<3

My Daughter, Bryanna, had known Sam in 7th-9th grade when he attended PAHS and was in many of his classes. Bryanna has good memories of Sam. He was always very nice and in her words, "very smart". My prayers go out to the family. May you find comfort in our Lord.

We had Sam in school when he attended Port Allegany High School several years ago. I was his study hall monitor for almost 2 years, and my wife is the high school librarian. My thoughts go out to the Miller family. I had the pleasure of having Sam in math class in 7th grade. While we didn't always see eye-to-eye, I knew that Sam offered a lot of promise in life. He was very intelligent, and often had some witty comment when I was having a bad day.
It's so hard to see a life, this young, taken from Earth. It's especially tough when this young life is the life of a child that passed through your classroom not too long ago.
I wish there were something I could say to make it easier to get through this. But, I know there isn't. Just know that God now has another angel by his side, and I'm sure that Angel Sam is has been sharing his wisdom and knowledge with God and the other angles.
