Obituary of Narice Kathleen Hardway

Smethport - Narice Kathleen Hardway, 69, of Smethport, died Sunday (April 13, 2014) in the Lakeview Senior Care & Living Ctr., Smethport. She was born Nov. 1, 1944 in Olean, NY, a daughter of Howard C. and Muriel A. Patterson Parker. She was first married to Frank H. Schneider, Sr., who survives on May 23, 1964. She then married Cecil G. Hardway on September 25, 1992, who died May 15, 1995. Mrs. Hardway attended Smethport schools and was employed in food service as a cook at the Bradford Manor and lastly at the Warren Manor. She is survived by: One son: Frank (Denise Windsor) Schneider, Jr. of Smethport One daughter: Amy (Rocco Schiraldi) Holton of Painted Post, NY One brother: Milton (Janet) Parker of Sun City, AZ One sister: Clara (Gary) Salati of Regelsville, PA Three grandchildren: Jennifer and Bethany Holton and Jaden Schneider Five step grandchildren: Kiyah Taggart, and Trent and Drew Windsor, Justin and Jay Schiraldi Two great grandchildren: Briana Holton and Sara Copp In addition to her parents and second husband, she was preceded in death by a sister, Maurine Wilcox. Following Narice’s wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral services. Burial will be in Fairmount Cemetery, Farmers Valley.
