Obituary of Terry P. Lloyd

Port Allegany - Terry P. Lloyd, 69, of Port Allegany, died Saturday (February 9, 2013) in the Sweden Valley Manor, Coudersport. He was born March 25, 1943 in Kane, a son of Carl Raymond and Mary Edna Hayes Lloyd. Mr. Lloyd was a 1961 graduate of Port Allegany High School and attended St. Francis Xavier College of Duxbury, MA, the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York, NY, the Parson School of Design and New School, also in New York, NY. Mr. Lloyd was an Interviewer/ Supervisor for New York City Rent Control, New York, NY, worked as a Law Library Assistant for Davis, Polk and Wardwell of New York City, and was an Art Teacher for the U.S. Government in St. Thomas, Virgin Islands. He was also a nursing assistant at Sena Kean Manor, Smethport. He is survived by: One son: Adam Lloyd of Port Allegany One daughter: Breanna Lloyd of Port Allegany Two grandchildren: Lyla and Wyatt Maynard Three sisters: Maribeth L. Brown, Edna L. Baker, and Collene K. (David) Shaffer of Port Allegany, PA Three brothers: Joel C. (Helen) Lloyd of Cumming, GA, Kevin P. Lloyd of Buffalo, NY, Brian P. (Kalin) Lloyd of Biloxi, Miss. And several nieces and nephews In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Gregory H. Lloyd. In accordance with Mr. Lloyd's wishes, his body was donated to the University at Buffalo's Anatomical Gift Program, Buffalo, NY. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, March 25, at 11A.M., in St. Gabriel's Church, Port Allegany, with the Rev. James Campbell, pastor, as Celebrant.
