Hello, I'm sorry to hear of the passing of Judith. I never met her but I knew some of her children. They r great kids, and that's only because of the way they were brought up. So she had to have been a big influence on their lives, and had to have been a wonderful mother. I just lost my father in February, I know how hard it can be to deal with this lose, I still have dreams about him. I know what its like to take care of them and see them disappear in front of you. And again I'm am sorry to hear of this happening. You two are in my thoughts and prayers. You'll see her again. I'm also sorry for the whole family, and all of the ones that were close to Judith. May she rest in peace.

my grandma wouldn't let me wallow in my self pity. when my dad died she told me bad things happen to a lot of people you get up and you take it like a man! Grandma was tough, but on the other hand she loved a good sense of humor. My twin and I were gifted with that and our favorite pastime was being able to make her laugh. Thank you grandma for helping me become a good man. I will miss you.

My first memory of my mom is her yelling for my father from the yard, I think I was all of three years old. I remember seeing a big bear and the story is dad came out with the shot gun and shot him right through the heart. dad would grin when he told this story always finishing with I had to explain to the game warden that my wife is a city girl I had to shoot it.
My favorite story is about the dollar. Dad was hit by the top of a tree which broke his neck and back. he laid there for several hours. I asked him one day why there was a dollar in a jar with my mothers name on it written with orange tree marker. He told me he was laying there thinking this was probably the end of him so he wrote my moms name on a dollar that he managed to get out of his pocket. he wanted to make sure she knew he was thinking about her.
I will miss you mommy. you have always been and will always be my hero. thank you for making me who I am.

Aw, Judy. My sympathy to those who loved her. She was my sister-in-law, and we shared many things. Judy and I were the last ones to visit our Mother-in-law (Margaret Duffy). The 3 of us enjoyed watching the Carol Burnett Show from her hospital room, laughing until we cried. Later that night, she died in her sleep. Judy and I went to Buffalo to visit Donna. We went to Juniata College to celebrate Kathy's athletic award. We went to visit my son Paul in Chesapeake. We stopped at a Civil War battlefield along the way, and I was astonished at her knowledge of that War, who won the battle, and other details. When I went to nursing school, Judy encouraged me through those college days when I wasn't sure I would make it. And when I graduated, she was there! Judy was many things to many people. She was my sister-in-law, my friend, and I loved her. All the burdens of this life are over now. May God cradle her in His arms until she grows her wings and learns to fly. Happy Trails, Judy!

Bill, & All My Dear Nieces & Nephews...I can't find adequate words to express my sadness for your loss and mine. I've spoken with many of you and will be doing so again when we meet for Judy's visitation and mass in Smethport. Judy and I were always there for one another during the 70 years of her life. Being the older sister, I was suppose to lead the way, but Judy was always there ahead of me in so many respects. As stated in her obituary, she WAS truly a one-of-a-kind daughter, sister, cousin, aunt, wife, in-law, mother, friend and woman; who mastered anything she put her mind to. I could not have survived your Uncle Tony's death in 2008 without her support and love. We were there for one another throughout our lives. Other than my husband, she was my best friend even when time and miles separated us. I love her & will miss her, just as I know you will. Remember: Death leaves a heartache no one can heal. Love leaves a memory no one can steal. See you soon. Love, Aunt Donna
