Obituary of Virginia Marie Wallace

Port Allegany - Virginia Marie Wallace, 89, of Port Allegany, passed away on Sunday (March 10, 2013) at Sena Kean Manor, Smethport. She was born Feb 19, 1924 in Bradford, a daughter of Archie David and Mary Agnes Hall Williams. On June 10, 1950, at St. Bernard's Rectory in Bradford, PA, she married John Dorman Wallace, who survives. Mrs. Wallace graduated from St. Bernard High School in 1943 and had worked for Penelec, North Pen Gas Company, and the Borough of Port Allegany. She was a member of St. Gabriel Catholic Church, Port Allegany. In addition to her husband, she is survived by Three daughters: Mary Beth (Steve) Frison of Port Allegany, Barbara (Kevin) O'Donnell of Bradford, Christine (Greg) Michaelian of Stuart, FL A daughter-in-law: Carol Wallace of Port Allegany Two sons: James (Suzanne) Wallace of Smethport and Joseph(Tracy) Wallace of Bolivar, NY Nineteen grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son Jeffrey and daughter Martha, sisters Betty Hutton and Maxine Modrell, and brother Eugene "Butch" Williams. Friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. on Wednesday, March 13, in Hartle-Tarbox Funeral Homes, Inc, 105 N. Main St, Port Allegany, PA. A Mass of Christian burial will be Celebrated Thursday, March 14, at 11A.M., in St. Gabriel Catholic Church, Port Allegany, with the Rev. James Campbell, pastor as Celebrant. Committal will be in Willow Dale Cemetery, Bradford. The Rosary will be said at 7:30 P.M. in the funeral home on Wednesday. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Gabriel Catholic Church, 203 E.
