Earl will be missed by the Locke family (we live just a few houses away from him). We always enjoyed chatting with Earl whenever he was outside---which was often! He always had a smile on his face and a kind word to share. I love that children were important to him, as he always made a point to say "Hi", or smile, or even share toys with our 3 kids! Earl loved gardening and was quick to share tomatoes, turnips, and cucumbers with us. In the winters he would plow our driveway with his four-wheeler, too!
Earl was servant-hearted and genuinely cared about his neighbors...which was one way he showed God's love with others.
Thank you for sharing him with us, Twila! He was a gem of a guy.

We took comfort with the obituary words that my Uncle Earl Claycomb is now home in the loving arms of Jesus. When we lose a loved one here on earth, we gain an angel in heaven that watches over us. May you take comfort in knowing that we have an angel to watch over us now. We extend our most sincere condolences to you.
