My heart is saddened to hear of Lester's passing. He was a wonderful man. He was a dear friend and will be greatly missed by everyone. It was a great pleasure to work with him at the Lumber Museum for many years. - He was a very wise and talented man. Love you Lester!!

Your father worked for my father in the machine shop at Smethport Auto Parts, many years ago. I can remember seeing him there working with dad, they had a lot in common. He was a good man and will be missed.

Mr. Jordan was the best. What a fantastic neighbor and friend. He always enjoyed our daughter, Mary. When she was little out in our yard he would chat with her.
Mr. Jordan was so intelligent and a kind and loving man.
My he rest in peace with God. There is truly a place in Heaven for him.

to all my family.. sorry to hear about uncle lester. i have been sick and so has my brother... uncle lester taught me alot about the steam engine.. couldnt beleve he made the smallest one.. he was a good man.. i hope he flys high with mom and dad and aunt rose. i will miss him dearly..

I had the pleasure of working with Lester for quite a few years at the Smethport Auto Parts machine shop. He came to know our young growing family, and was a co-worker and friend to my father-in law Lloyd Smith. He was a mentor to many, especially at the lumber museum, and respected by all because of his knowledge and sincerity. He shared with us flower bulbs and his "johnnie cake" recipe. Our heart and huggs to all family and friends.
