Obituary of William F. Blaser
Port Allegany - William F. Blaser, 78, of, Port Allegany, died unexpectedly Tuesday (March 8, 2016) due to injuries sustained in an ATV accident.
He was born Dec 23, 1937 in Williamsport, PA, a son of William F. Blaser, Sr. and Delores M. Ammer Shoup. On September 4, 1965 in Roulette, PA, he married June E. Gordon, who died September 14, 2014.
Mr. Blaser was a graduate of Baldwin High School and Alfred University with a degree in Building Construction.
He was a veteran having served in the U.S. Navy.
Mr. Blaser was a self employed carpenter.
He enjoyed hunting and spending time outdoors. He was a talented craftsman and mechanic with an ability to fix or build almost anything.
He is survived by
three daughters: Carrie (Roger) Wilcoxen of Camano Island, WA, Kathi (John) Gillespie of Russell, PA, Joanna Wentzel of Mt. Joy, PA
one son: Keith (Brenda) Blaser of Sheboygan, WI
five grandchildren and 3 step grandchildren
Mr. Blaser was preceded in death by his parents and his wife.
At the request of the family, there will be no visitation. A memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family at a future date. Burial will be in the Fishing Creek Cemetery.
