Obituary of Bonna J. Johnson

Port Allegany - Bonna J. Johnson, 74, of Roulette, passed away on Monday (August 8, 2016), at Robert Packer Hospital, Sayre, PA. She was born March 15, 1942 in Bellefonte, PA, a daughter of Miles and Arlene Bohn Bloom. On June 22, 1963, in State College, PA, she married Carl G. Johnson, who survives. Mrs. Johnson was a graduate of State College High School and was co-owner with her husband of Johnson Excavating of Roulette, PA. Bonna was a member of the Roulette Fire Dept. Ladies Auxiliary and liked hunting and fishing. The most important thing to Bonna was her family. Her kids were her pride and joy, and taking care of her family was her life. In addition to her husband, she is survived by: one daughter: Pamela (Scott) Davenport of Roulette one son: Jerry (Karen) Johnson of Roulette two granddaughters: Stacey (Craig) Kinney of Port Allegany and Sydney Davenport of Roulette. one brother: Barry (Diane) Bloom of State College, PA Bonna was preceded in death by her parents. Visitation will be held on Thursday, Aug. 11, from 2-4 and 6-8 PM, at the Hartle-Tarbox Funeral Homes, Inc., 105 Main St., Port Allegany, PA, where funeral services will be held on Friday, at 11 AM, with the Rev. Randall Headley, pastor of the Riverside United Methodist Church, Roulette, officiating. Committal will be in Hill Cemetery, Roulette. In lieu of flowers, memorials, if desired, may be made to the Roulette Fire Department or the Riverside United Methodist Church of Roulette.
