Obituary of Margaret Marie Smoker

Port Allegany - Margaret Marie Smoker, 59, of Port Allegany, died Tuesday (August 9, 2016) in the Cole Memorial Hospital, Coudersport. She was born April 5, 1957 in Pittsburgh, a daughter of William and Ann Chappel Ryan. On July 9, 1988, in Port Allegany, PA, she married Stephen M. Smoker, who survives. Mrs. Smoker was a 1975 graduate of Port Allegany High School and was employed by Pittsburgh Corning of Port Allegany. In addition to her husband, she is survived by: one daughter: Nicole (Eric) Keely of Wilmington, NC five sons: Ryan (Sheila) Lindsay of Brookville, IN, David W. Smoker, Michael Smoker, Stephen J. (Crystal) Smoker, and Terry J. (Melissa) Smoker, all of Port Allegany, PA 20 Grandchildren five sisters: Regina (Steve) Campbell of Lenexa, KS, Theresa (Danny Carmichael) Ryan of Raymore, MO, Barbara (Tom) Campbell of Harrisonville, MO, Karen(David) Wachner of Waller, TX, Colleen Barber of Harrisonville, MO one brother: Bill (Alex) Ryan of Dickinson , TX and many nieces and nephews Marie was predeceased by her grandparents, a son Cody Smoker, and two grand children Candice and Levi Smoker. There will be no visitation. Friends and family are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am Thursday, Aug. 11, in St. Gabriel The Archangel Church, Port Allegany, with the Rev. James Campbell, Pastor, as Celebrant. A reception will follow after services from 12-4 at the Port Allegany VFW.
