So many memories of your mom (& dad)...mayonnaise cake, picnics in the yard, singing at the piano, picking (& eating, lol!) currants & berries for her jams, jellies & pies. Your mom, bless her heart, had her hands full with all you kids but she was willing to allow this little girl to join the brood! She gave us the freedom to roam beyond the farm and roam we did! The fire tower, the fish pond, the stone quarry...carefree times! I was blessed to know your mom and am truly thankful for the friendship she shared with my own mother. My deepest condolences to all of you. Rest in peace Jeanne.
