Obituary of Walter H. Scott

Austin- Walter H. Scott, Sr., 70, of Austin, died Wednesday (January 25, 2017), at his residence in Austin. He was born Feb. 17, 1946 in Abington, PA, a son of Chester W. and Noreen A. Sharp Scott, Sr. On April 6, 1968, in Barrington, NJ, he married Shirley L. Helmbold, who died January 10, 2016. Mr. Scott was a truck driver employed by NBS Trucking of Bradford. He is survived by: one daughter: KellyAnn (James) Loesch of Delran, NJ two sons: Walter (Katherine) H. Scott, Jr. of Cinnaminson, NJ and Joseph (Jessica) E. Scott of Coudersport 9 Grandchildren: Derek, Cassie, Justin, Andrew, Alexis, Emily, Sydnee, Desiree and Joshua one brother: Chester W. Scott, Jr. of Greenlane, PA three sisters: Noreen Houck of Berwyn, PA, Lillian L. Free of Genesee, PA, and Susan Scott of Maple Shade, NJ, and several nieces and nephews. Mr. Scott was preceded in death by his parents and wife. At his request, there will be no visitation or funeral services at this time.
