Obituary of Robert W. "Bob" Burdick

Smethport - Robert "Bob" W. Burdick, 61, of Smethport, PA, passed away March 13TH, 2017. Bob worked as an electrician for Pennzoil for many years before working for the Smethport Borough and then the Smethport Area School District as a maintenance supervisor. He was an avid Street Rod builder, with his pride and joy being a 1939 Coupe that he built specifically for his wife. Bob was a lifetime member of the Smethport Fire Department. Survived is his wife of 36 years, Donna, and 2 daughters, Jill (Branden) Labecki of Lower Burrell, PA and Pam (Kurt) Ferman of Smethport, PA. In addition, he is survived by 2 sisters, Nancy (Walt) Mackey of Bradford, PA and Becky (Robert) Funk of Smethport, PA, 4 grandchildren: Nathan and Jonah Labecki and Mason and Kendall Ferman and several nieces and nephews. Bob was preceded in death by his parents, William and Alva Burdick. Visitation will be held on Friday, March 17 from 3-6 PM at Hartle-Tarbox Funeral Homes, Inc., 2 Bank St., Smethport. Funeral services will begin in the funeral home at 6:30 pm following visitation. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery, Smethport.
