Obituary of Achsah C. Zetwick

Smethport - Achsah C. Zetwick, 85, of Smethport, formerly of Crosby, died Friday (August 2, 2013) in the Lakeview Senior Care & Living Ctr., Smethport. She was born Jan 1, 1928 in Jessup, MD a daughter of Arthur B. and Bertha Disney Clark. On June 20, 1947, in Jessup, MD, she married Gerald Zetwick, who died April 18, 1978. Mrs. Zetwick was a graduate of Anne Arundel High School in Jessup, MD. Mrs. Zetwick worked for the Civilian Personnel Board at Fort Mead, MD where she met her husband Gerald. She was later employed by Costa's Super Market, from where she retired, after many years of service. Mrs. Zetwick was a member of St. Elizabeth of Hungary Catholic Church, Smethport, PA. She was a charter member of the American Legion; John Berg Post #976 Auxiliary and the Norwich Twp. Fire Dept. Auxiliary. She enjoyed reading and caring for her Grandchildren. She is survived by one daughter: Vicki (Brian) Sharro of Smethport, PA four sons: Ronald (Sherry) Zetwick of Smethport, PA, Donald (Linda) Zetwick of Franklin, PA, Charles (Diane) Zetwick of Turtlepoint, PA, Jeffrey (Wendy) Zetwick of Harrisburg, PA 10 Grandchildren and 15 Great Grandchildren. one sister: Bertha Simms of Laurel, MD In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, one sister Martha Skipper and a daughter-in-law, Claudette Zetwick. There will be no visitation. A graveside service will be held Saturday, August 24 at 11:00 am in St. Elizabeth Cemetery, Smethport with the Rev. Vincent P. Cieslewicz, pastor of St. Elizabeth of Hungary Catholic Church, officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to American Legion John Berg Post #976 Auxiliary or the Norwich Twp. Fire Department Auxiliary, both of Crosby, PA or the SPCA of Bradford.
