I was surprised and saddened to hear of Al's passing. I knew him through the Burlingame family as I was married to Terry. He often joined us and was always so nice. I also saw him up at the school and church. He always smiled and had such beautiful blue eyes. He will be missed.

My sympathies go to Alan's family. He was a wonderful guy. I enjoyed talking to him in homeroom for 6 years and again at our reunion. He had the same sense of humor he always had. I'm sure all who knew him will miss him greatly. God bless you as you grieve and I pray that God will be a strength and comfort to all of you.
