Obituary of Rhonda C. Marsh

Smethport - Rhonda C. Marsh, 52, of Brockway, PA, formerly of Smethport, died Thursday (August 8, 2013) in the UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, Pittsburgh. She was born April 8, 1961 in Bradford, a daughter of Ronald C. “Skip” and Anita L. Grinolds Benjamin. Rhonda was a 1979 graduate of Bradford High School and attended Southeastern Academy of Orlando, FL, where she was trained as a Travel Agent. She had worked at Monte’s in Bradford and waitressed and bartended in other local establishments over the years before settling in Brockway with her boyfriend, Dan Uplinger. She was a member of Hope Lutheran Church, Smethport, PA. In addition to her mother, Anita Benjamin, she is survived by: Her boyfriend: Dan Uplinger of Brockway, PA, with whom she resided one sister: Belinda (Tim) Smead of Aiken, a nephew, Tyler Smead and a niece, Kaitlin Smead, both of Aiken, and several Aunts, Uncles, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her father, Ronald C. “Skip” Benjamin on Aug. 29, 2012. There will be no visitation. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, Aug. 31, 2013, at 11 A.M., in the Hope Lutheran Church, Smethport, PA, with the Rev. Thomas Beam, officiating.
