Obituary of Carolyn E. Fiegl

Smethport - Carolyn E. Fiegl, 78, of Smethport, died Sunday (September 1, 2013) in the Bradford Regional Medical Center, Bradford. She was born June 3, 1935 in Buffalo, NY, a daughter of Arthur and Lillian Abrams. On November 11, 1956, in the Trinity Lutheran Church of Elma, NY, she married Lynn J. Fiegl, who survives. Mrs. Fiegl had worked for the Galeton Railroad and for Bill Lake Real Estate. She ultimately worked for the McKean County Sheriff’s office as Chief Clerk for 21 years before retiring. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Smethport and the Smethport Women's Club. In addition to her husband, she is survived by one daughter: Linda C. (Joseph) Ellis of Ocala, FL one son: Ronald L. (Polly) Fiegl of Chambersburg, PA three grandchildren: Bryce, Grace, And Jack Fiegl, all of Chambersburg. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. at the Hartle-Tarbox Funeral Homes, Inc., 2 Bank St., Smethport, PA. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 4, at 11 A.M. in the Trinity Lutheran Church, Smethport, with the Rev. Max Simms, officiating.
