My cousin Vick holds a dear place in my heart. He was genuine and never put on a front for anyone anytime. We have made some great memories while living in Florida and while working at "Starvin Marvins" in Austin. He always seemed to sense the frustration and anguish this world held for us even before his diagnosis. Vick was a hard person to unravel but I know he loved those around him deeply and wanted peace and acceptance. My heart goes out to our family and friends. He is at peace now. Although I may not be able to make it to the funeral I will be there in mind and spirit.
