Obituary of Josephine R. Maxwell

Coudersport - Josephine R. Maxwell, 97, of Hebron, died Thursday (November 7, 2013) in Cole Memorial Hospital, Coudersport. She was born Aug. 14, 1916 in Philadelphia, a daughter of Stephen and Josephine Knollmayer Scheier. She married Charles Hutwagner and later married Eugene Maxwell. They both preceded her in death . She is survived by: two sons: Charles (Maryann) Hutwagner of Coudersport, PA, and Stephen Hutwagner of Egg Harbor, NJ three brothers: Paul Scheier, George Scheier, Stephen Scheier two sisters Evelyn Rogers and Elizabeth Allen one grandchild, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, both husbands and 2 brothers. At her request, there will be no visitation or funeral services. Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
