With a tear, the Lightner family sends condolences to Gladys' family. What a spunky and strong-willed woman. It was a blessing having Gladys in our lives. She holds a special place in all our hearts. Kyle and Karl think of her as a bonus grandmother always there for them offering to them anything she had .. except they had to get it themselves she wasn't going to wait on them ;-). Every first day of school she would look forward to a photograph from kindergarten to even leaving for college~ both boys would go next door to Gladys front yard for the annual ritual ~ I will treasure her photos and the fond memories of her and the boys growing up next door.
