I was Steven's slightly younger cousin, living on south Brooklynside in Port. We played together in our younger years, often shooting each other with BB guns as we took shelter behind out buildings and trees. I remember helping him harvest sap from maple trees, and the delicious maple syrup Mary Jane created. We were football and track team mates in high school. One of my fondest memories were those days when Horse would stop in front of my house in the morning on his way to school, and I would hitch a ride on the back of his motorcycle.
