Dear Aunt June and family,
Terry is rememenbering with special thoughts the Sunday dinners at Grandma and Grandpa Russell's house. Uncle Nelson's charcter was exemplified by his bowling - he was great at it despite his physical limitations, having to throw the ball from the foul line.
We had such fun with you all at Ginny and Bob's 40th anniversary. Nancy's family still talks about Uncle Nelson and Aunt June. Our prayers are with you.
Love,
Terry, Nancy, and Steven

We are going to miss you very much. We always knew if nobody else would show up, we could always count on Nelson and June to be there. We're gonna miss parking the car and making sure he always had his food and coffee. After thanking Nelson for showing up, he would say dont't thank me, just keep inviting me. We are gonna miss seeing you at all the get togethers. You are going to be greatly missed by all of us. We love you!!!!

My uncle nelson will be greatly missed by all. He was the strongest man I have ever known. He was like a dad to me after I lost my dad. I will never forget the good times with him and I do not believe there was ever a bad time, other than the time I cleaned off his desk thinking I was doing something nice and messing up his whole system all along Whoops!!!. We will all miss his humming and little songs he sang to the children. I will miss going to my grams and him not sitting on the porch smoking his pipe watching the kids play in the yard. He will be sadly missed, but forever remembered in the little things that he has taught us and in the memories that we hold close to our hearts. I know he is now in a special place with other special people and they are all looking down upon us and guiding us.

Nelson will be missed by may of us. Now that summer is here more then ever. The spot we saved for him to park his car will be empty, even if someone else is parked there. When he could, he always played horse-shoes. When I see someone playing,I know that if we look hard enough we will see him playing along with everyone. I will always see him at the table smoking his pipe and, watching all the little kids running around and laughing at the things they got into. I will miss getting him something to eat and sitting and talking with him as we sat around a fire.He was one of the first to come, and one of the last to leave a party. I remember him dancing, up till it was to hard for him to get around. When I hear the song (Where am I gonna live when I get home) I will always remember him and Eric singing it.I know we will not see him this summer and the ones to come but, his spirt will be with us. Nelson made many memories with all of us that we will share over the years, and we were blessed to have him in our lives. He will be sadly missed.
