My special memories with Doris are the days I spent with her. I was her nurse taking care of her in the nursing home. I would bring her little gifts on her birthday and sent cards during the holidays. I also visited with her and sang hymns to her and just talked with her. She was like another grandmother to me. I will miss her dearly, but I know that she is home with our Lord and her husband. Love and Miss you Doris!

My sympathy to my dear cousins for the loss of Aunt Doris. I will never forget her. I will always remember her and Grammy (Gearldine) playing piano and organ at church. I loved growing up as a child and Grampy and Grammy taking me to their house to have dinners and play together with Andy and Danny and Casey at their house. Uncle Si and Aunt Doris will be greatly missed as we miss Aunt Pod and Uncle Bill, Grampy (Bob) and Grammy(Gearldine)I didn't know the other silblings that Aunt Doris and Grammy (Geraldine) had but I heard many wonderful things about them. I look forward in celebrating the lives and memories that Uncle Si and Aunt Doris left for all of us on Saturday. I send my love, prayers and thoughts to the rest of the family. God bless. Just remember they are now celebrating in the presence of the Lord with the rest of our family that are in heaven. I know my Grampy and Grammy are happy to see them there and I am sure Grammy and Aunt Doris and Uncle Si and Grammpy and Aunt Pod and Uncle Bill and the rest are all singing and playing heavenly instruments for the Lord. Dear Connie, I feel like a big part of my life has passed with the passing of your mom. Your parents were such a wonderful part of my growing up years. Their godly examples were always such an inspiration to me. They were always so loving, kind and encouraging to me. I loved them dearly.
